On August 16, 2025,* Old Sturbridge Village will host the first Traditions in Trades: Artisan Showcase! This exciting new event aims to celebrate the craftsmanship of today’s artisans alongside our costumed historians, who will be demonstrating the trades and arts of early 1800s New England. We are curating a select group of regional artisans whose craftsmanship is of the highest caliber and whose work embodies the spirit and tradition similar to our own work here. Come see appoximately 40 regional artisan vendors whose work embodies the spirit and tradition similar to the trades demonstrated at the Village.

Advance ticket purchase is HIGHLY recommended.
While there is no extra charge for members to attend, pre-registration is requested. If you are using an admission discount, you must purchase in person to verify discount eligibility.
You are welcome to arrive anytime after the Village opens (9:30 a.m.) and stay until the Village closes at 5:00 p.m.
