Adult Field Trip Workshop: Holiday Block Printed Wrapping Paper Workshop
Add a personal, artistic touch to your holiday season! In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn the traditional art of block printing and use it to create their own unique wrapping paper. Guided by an instructor, you’ll explore simple design techniques, carve festive patterns, and experiment with color.
By the end of the class, you’ll take home a collection of hand-printed wrapping paper ready to use for your holiday gifts—along with the tools, knowledge, and inspiration to continue block printing on your own. No prior art experience is necessary.
Come enjoy a relaxed, festive atmosphere while making something beautiful, sustainable, and uniquely yours.
Important Workshop Details:
- Workshops take place in the Museum Education Building, and guests can park in the Museum Ed lot. View map
- Workshops are designed for ages 14+
- Fees include material costs
- Space is limited, and pre-registration is required
- Old Sturbridge Village is closed during this workshop.
- Please let us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel your workshop tickets. As these workshops are in high demand, refunds for workshop fees will only be given up to one week prior to the event date, or in the case of cancellation by Old Sturbridge Village.
