Be a Part of our Celtic Celebration and Help Us Highlight Irish Poetry!
From epic poems like Homer’s Iliad to religious poems like those in Laozi’s Dao De Jing, poetry is an art form that has spanned continents and millennia. As part of our 2025 Celtic Celebration, the Village will host a visitor poetry reading to highlight Irish poetry. If you have a poet you would like to highlight or simply enjoy the act of sharing poetry, we hope you will join us for our Celtic Celebration to engage with this art form with everyone!
On both Saturday, March 15 and Sunday, March 16, there will be a reading from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. in the Stephen M. Brewer Theater in the Visitor Center. Register to read/recite an Irish poem of your choosing below. Registration to Participate is Due March 10, 2025. Readers should plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their scheduled time.
All are welcome and encouraged to listen to the poems shared!
