Times: Grounds open at 6:30 a.m., with filming from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The Village closes at 5:00 p.m.
Zip Trip is coming to Old Sturbridge Village on August 8, 2025!
Zip Trip is a popular summer series on Boston 25 News, bringing community members across Massachusetts together to celebrate businesses and organizations in cities and towns across the state. On August 8th, Zip Trip will be highlighting the town of Sturbridge by filming live at Old Sturbridge Village. On this day only, Old Sturbridge Village grounds will open at 6:30 a.m., and visitors can chat with representatives from area businesses and organizations. The Old Sturbridge Academy choir will also be performing! The show will be filming live from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m. After filming concludes, visitors are welcome to enjoy the rest of the day at the Village exploring our historical buildings, chatting with costumed historians, and learning about early 19th-century New England life.
