One of the most treasured flowers of all time, roses have a multitude of uses, forms, and histories. Join us for a look into the collection of historic roses living in the Paul E. Rogers Herb Garden. From Damask to Harison’s Yellow, each variety living in the herb garden is unique and distinct in its story and beauty. Enjoy a tour of OSV’s rose collection, and learn a bit about how roses grow, and how these treasured varieties came to be.Please make sure to arrive ample time before the program starts in order to check in at the Visitor Center and walk to the program location.

Garden Thyme programs are held on a select Saturday each month and are FREE for members of Old Sturbridge Village. Led by Village horticultural and agricultural staff, these programs and workshops are held at various sites and deal with a variety of plant-related themes and topics.
